Our mission remains steadfast: crafting adorable, sustainable toys through eco-conscious practices while empowering women through dignified employment.
In 2025, K2025934617 (PTY) LTD proudly provided dignified employment to women from underserved communities, contributing a remarkable total of 32,290 hours of meaningful work paid to them.
At K2025934617, dignified work means much more than employment—it signifies safety, health, fair wages aligned with fair trade principles, a nurturing community, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
As dedicated advocates for women's empowerment, equality, and refugee integration. We tirelessly work to shape a brighter future for our children together.
Your support directly impacts the lives of over 250 children, as our artisan mothers invest their earnings into nurturing their families' futures.
Thank you for joining us in creating lasting change and empowering women to thrive.
.From working conditions to pay, all aspects of our work rely on dialogue, transparency, and respect. We diligently secure the rights of marginalized producers and workers.
Hand-crocheted from hug-ready organic cotton yarn, our toys are designed for imaginative play and easy cleaning! We use sustainably sourced hypoallergenic polyfill stuffing made from recycled bottles. Each toy undergoes rigorous testing and meets safety standards.
Our toys are handmade by a community of over 120 mothers in and around South Africa. Many are impoverished locals, while others are refugees. Your purchase enables us to pay them a fair trade wage, helping lift their families out of poverty.
“I’ve learnt handcrafts, worked with it, and earned money. And I’ve supported my daughter to finish her education. If any of my children or my husband need help, I can support them.”
— Samira, Refugee
We give our artisan moms the flexibility to work when and how it suits them. Everyone sets their own schedule, and we offer job training for those new to crocheting. Our cheerful studio has a dedicated play area for childcare support. Some mothers prefer to work from home, allowing them to balance family life with their craft.
“When we first came here, we were alone. We didn’t have relatives or our families. Working here as a community of women, we support each other. We share ideas, help one another, and have made friendships. We became a family, sisters.”
— Rania, Refugee
