As a proud South African citizen, Khethiwe Francilia Machava sought to make a difference in her community. It started with the challenge of finding wholesome, huggable toys for children—items that were made with care for the environment and the artisans behind them.
Khethiwe was fortunate to connect with talented artisans in South Africa, all mothers like herself. Together, they crafted their first line of toys, filling a local studio with laughter and creativity. Joyful stories were shared, and through this collaboration, K2025934617 (PTY) LTD was born.
The company became a haven for mothers and families, providing dignified work opportunities that allowed them to earn fair wages while creating beautiful products. We embraced a philosophy of sustainability, using eco-friendly materials and ensuring that everyone involved could schedule their work around family life.
As our brand grew, we discovered organic, sustainably sourced fabrics soft enough for sensitive skins, along with recycled materials that would help leave a better world for future generations. We developed a variety of characters, ensuring that every child could find something that resonated with their unique experiences.
Before long, we were joyfully sharing our creations with families around the globe!
